1. VENUE

D'Artagnan Master will take place in Salle Polyvalente du Mouzon, 17 Rue du Général De Gaule 32000 Auch (for further information please consult the website : https://www.masterdartagnan.com), which hosts the night of Thai Bowing, evening Europe, CIRCA, the Employment Forum, sports night, a national competition table tennis, …

The main Dojo has 5 mats and there are two warming up mats, as well as numerous changing rooms. It is particulary well situated, easy to reach and has convenient parking facilities.

2. TIMETABLE

Saturday 11st May 2024
7:00 am : event opening
9:00 am : start of competition for all women and from M6 to M9
11:30 am : M4 & M5
2:00 pm : M1,M2 & M3
5:00 pm : end of competition
The schedule is liable to modification depending on the of competitors.

3. TYPE DE COMPETITION
Individual Open Competition for Veterans.

1. REGISTRATION

The registration will be done by : http://www.ffjudo.org/portal/  or directly here

The entry fee is €20
No entry fee can be refund.

Registration will be closed beyond 600, a waiting-list will be opened starting from 601, to replace cancellations, Judoka on the wainting-list will be registered according to the date of their payment.

Warning : no registration will be taken into account without the associated payment. You will be able to pay your commitment directly on the spot.

 

2. THE PAYMENT

Payment is to be made in EUROS, by cheque issued at the name of « Judo Club Auscitain » or by bank transfer.

The commitment is via the internet FORM but registration is not final until payment is received.

 

GENERAL RULE

Most of the rules are to be complied with International Judo Federation (IJF) rules. Certain specificities have been added, in compliance with the French Federation rules or the organizer's own rules.

1. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Each federation affiliated to the International Judo Federation may enter as many athletes as it desires, if they respect conditions of registration :

  • Each athlete can participate only in the weight category for which he/she is enrolled, except if the organizers decide to combine two categories.
  • On the day of the competition, the comprtitors must have held a license for at least 2 years and be green belt holders or higher.
  • Each athlete participates in the age division which is determined by his/her year of birth.
  • Competitors who have double nationality can represent only one participating country.
  • Athletes who have participated in an official international competition organized by the IJF (with the exception of Masters) over the last two seasons are excluded from the event.

2. AGE AND CONTEST DURATION

Examples : 

Competitors don't have to be 30 years old on the day of the competition : an athlete born on 31st December 1994 can participate to the competition of 11st May 2024, he/ she will be registered in the F1/M1 division.

Age divisions will be determined according to the year of birth and not the date on birth : an athlete born on 30th November 1989 will be enrolled in the M2/F2 division even if he is 34 years old on 11st May 2024.

3. WEIGHT CATEGORIES

A combination of two categories is possible if the number of participants in one of them is insufficient : Cf 5. COMPETITION FORMULA

4. JUDOGIS AND BACK NUMBERS

  • Judogis :
    Blue judogis are accepted, but otherwise each judoka must be in possession of his personal red belt.
    All judogi suppliers are authorized as long as the judogi complies with technival norms.

  • Back numbers :
    Organizers will supply athletes with sponsors back numbers, which will have to be worn during the competition.
    Official IJF or EJU back numbers can stay on judogis, those back numbers being stuck underneath.

5. COMPETITION FORMULA

  • 4 or 5 athletes : one pool.

  • 6 athletes : 2 pools of 3, the two first ones in each pool are qualified for the semi finals.

  • 7 athletes : 1 pool of 4 and 1 pool of 3, the two first ones in each pool are qualified for the semi finals.

  • More than 7 athletes : an elimination system with double second chance.

  • For 1, 2 or 3 athletes : the organizers are free to take the initiative of combining age and/or weight categories as coherently as possible, the closest age category being privileged.

6. ORDER OF PRESENTATION PER CATEGORIES
For the different categories, athletes will be invited to be present at :

  • 9:00 am :  from M6 to M10 and all women
  • 11:30 am : M4 & M5
  • 2:00 pm : M1,M2 & M3

Warning: Schedules may change according to age categories with the highest number of registrants

7. RULES OF THE DECISIVES ADVANTAGES

In case of a tie, the decisive advantage system will be applied. (Golden Score)

8. POINTS FOR GRADES
Masters will be able to score points for their grades according to officials rules :

  • For Occitanie's athletes, points will be signed on the spot if the representative of the Regional Grades Committee agrees.
  • For Others French's athletes, regional representatives will be able to download results as soon as posted on FFJDA website, to certify points.
  • For foreign athletes, representatives of National Grades Committees will be able download results as soon as posted on FFJDA website, to certify points, if their National Federation allows it.

9. FRENCH RANKING

The d'Artagnan Master has been inclued in Labeled Tournaments A by the FFJDA. Therefore, the results will be taken into account for a national ranking system determined by the different French organizers.

  • A judoka alone in his category does not score any point as winner.
  • Each no rated participant will score 10 points for participation, the same for a judoka alone in its category
  • To determine the winner at the end of the season, the number of 1st ranks will be taken into account, and, if necessary 2nd ranks, …

1. WHEIGHINGS AND CONTROLS OF LICENCES / CERTIFICATES
Note : no registration or weighing on the D Day !

  • Weighing and Control will take place on Friday 10th May 2024, 17 rue du Général De Gaulle, at 4:00 pm.

  • No weight tolerance.

2. INSURANCE

Each fighter must tale an insurance for civil liability and personal injury, if he has not already subscribed it under the Federation or through its affiliated club, either through Federal insurance license. The organizers accept no responsibility.

3. DOCUMENT REQUIRED AT CONTROL

  • For French people, the same requirements than with the FFJDA : ID (no driving license), passport with two license stamps including the one from the current season and medical certificate from less than a year, allowing judo competition.

  • For Foreigners must provide any evidence to demonstrate that they are in good standing with their Federation affiliated mandatorily to the International Judo Federation, that they have at least two years of practice, minimum Green Belt and are medically able for Federation competition. Failing submission of a medical certificate, they fight under their own personal responsibility.
  • No fighter will be allowed to participate if they can not prove that he belongs to a club affiliated to Federation, affiliated itself to the International Federation (EJU and IJF).

1. ACCREDITATION AND GUIDE
Each athletes will receive a certification, during weighing, the day before the competion. Accrediation must be requested during the competition to enter the warm-up area or at the call of the fighter in the competition area.

One guide per fighter will be autorized in the competition are, it will come with the athlete and come out of the competition are with the athlete at the end of the fight.

2. AWARDS AND MEDALS

Awards (in prizes, not bonus) for the podium in each category :

  • The first 4 in the tales (1st, 2nd, and two 3rd) from six fighters.
  • The first 3 in the pools (1st, 2nd, and two 3rd) ; between 2 and 5 fighters.
  • If a fighter is alone in his category, he can not be rewarded by prize. Nevertheless, he will receive medal but will not be consider as the winner. The medals can be accumulated by a fighter, in gathering cases, but not the prizes.
